Engineering is basically a combination of physics,chemistry and mathematics and how you put the equations into the physical world. To be an engineer, mathematics should be your friend because you will not runaway from Calculus(Integration, differentiation) Graphs, Data, Statistics etc. In this physical world, the One God, Allah, has created and designed the laws of physics to the way He wanted it to be. For every movement in this world, there are rules that you have to consider in order to get the correct measurement. For different materials, there will be different characteristics, strength, and the way it behaves in certain condition. Physicists of the past had studied this world of motion and had put their passion and heart to solve the mystery of the world.
Albert Einstein for example had thought of the theory of energy relation to mass, theory of relativity and etc. Theory of relativity is the explanation of the gravity of how it actually works. Before Einstein, people see gravity as a force downwards. Well, Einstein rethought again on the way gravity works. It is actually the celestial mass on a fabric of space and time.

An engineer should be progressive know what he or she is doing. There must be good commitment and good communication so as good timing. An investor gives you a project and has set a dateline for you to accomplish. You must know to do calculations and predict the when it will be finish. Other than that, you have to consider the factors of safety of things you build. You have test the material and it requires material knowledge to know the best material to fit the specification or ergonomic of human being.
If you are an organised ad positive type of person. This probably the right job for you. If you are a money oriented person, take business management instead.
